ALL nonimmigrant visa interviews and adjudications for residents of Portugal will take place at the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal. Non-Immigrant Visas are required for anyone traveling to the United States temporarily who does not qualify for the Visa Waiver Program. Nonimmigrant visas cover visits for tourism, business, work or study. If you already know which type of visa you require APPLY NOW.

  • On July 9, 2013, the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon introduced a new procedure to simplify and streamline the visa application process for those traveling to the United States. Through the new services, applicants will be able to schedule a nonimmigrant visa application submission appointment by visiting the website http://usvisa-info.com or by calling the following number: +351 308 803 811. Some applicants will also be able to pay the U.S. visa application fee at http://usvisa-info.com.
    Please note that all nonimmigrant visa applications for residents of Portugal are processed at the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon. As of June 15, 2013, the Consulate in Ponta Delgada no longer provides nonimmigrant visa services.
